PVTC took on the challenge of hosting its first kids’ summer theatre camp, with the end product being the exciting Lion King, Kids version. For one week, more than 50 elementary- and middle school-aged kids joined us for a camp that included fun theatre games, set construction, makeup sessions, and of course, lots of rehearsal! The show was only possible because of the hard-working staff of high school students and recent graduates who helped bring the production to life, as well as host the younger theatre enthusiasts. The experience was capped off with a production of the show, giving the kids the chance to show off all they had learned to an audience of family and friends.
