Always, Patsy Cline, a 2-woman show based on the true penpal friendship of Patsy Cline and single mother Louise Seger, was directed by Sam Baldwin, who also played Patsy. She was joined on stage by Jannifer Hanna, who played Louise, and for the first time in a PVTC musical, a live band! The Bodacious Bobcats, made up of Conner Gerken, Matthew Hofman, Lynell Jamieson, Matthew Porter, and Randy Watson, rehearsed weekly leading up to the show, and created the perfect ambiance to represent the honky-tonk establishments that Patsy frequented. On stage, the entire show was held together almost entirely by Louise retelling her fond memories, cut into with a collection of nearly 30 of Patsy Cline’s greatest hits. The show brought out terrific crowds who reported a great sense of nostalgia after seeing the show.
